Funny eating habits!

I just had to share something silly Teagan does! It seems like it happens most often during breakfast. Once we put her food down and tell her its okay to eat she goes in and almost pounces her food like she is attacking it an then grabs two or three pieces. She takes them out and eats them on the carpet away from her bowl and then goes back to finish the rest just like normal! It is so silly and very funny to watch. We love her so much and are so excited that she loves her new food!

Our Zero does the same thing! He doesnt pounce on it, but he does take a few pieces out and eats them on the carpet, he repeats this 2 or 3 times before really digging into the bowl for good hahaha!

both of my girls ate that way regularily. Sam only occassionaly. I think they just wanted to be in the same room with their people.

:D Magnum does this too. I used to think it was because the linoleum was too chilly on his feet in the winter, but he does it year round. No pouncing, but he will take food to the carpet to enjoy before really digging in.

yep, Samson is also a pouncer! It is so funny to watch him play with his food. I have also noticed that he usually does it in the mornings. There's something to that.

chloe only does this with people food. when i give her something she takes it into the living room to eat and comes back for more.

Sissy also takes it to the carpet in the living room a couple of times and then decides to stay and eat the rest.

I leave dry food in ABBYs bowl so she can eat whenever she wants to. But this is what she does. She will get a mouthful of food, scatter it all over the floor, and then eat only the kibbles of food that she wants.

Harlie doesnt do the pouncing but she gets a couple in her mouth then comes into the living room shows us shes eating, does it maybe once more and them continues to finish her food. Me & DH laugh everytime she does it.
