The funniest thing happened this morning and I knew I had to share it with BW! My BF and I were watching a dog show on Animal Planet and the boxer (who had won its class!) came onto the screen...so we say "Look Riley, its a boxer!" She never pays any attention to the TV, but when we said this she went right up to the TV and was staring at the boxer very intently for a good 2-3 minutes before she walked away. I thought it was the coolest thing...it was like she knew exactly what we were talking about!! I guess this thread also ties into the other one talking about whether boxers recognize each other...my answer now is that they do!

OH MY GOODNESS!! we watched the same show this morning and buttercup did the same thing they don't watch a whole lot of tv but everynow and then - when a dog or horse is on the screen they watch - but very rarely do they actually go up to the tv like they did today

We don't watch a whole lot of TV, mostly sports. Rocky & Mia perk up if are watching something with interesting noises. The other day I caught my kids ordering a song from the music on demand channel and they were all jamming to "Been Caught Stealing" which has loud dogs barking in the beginning. The boys were laughing so hard as Mia & Rocky were desperately trying to find the source of the bark!
