frustrated with walks

My personal view on any behaviour issues with a dog are...that we are there to teach them what is acceptable...YES it does take some time and work to get them to undertand what we want them to do....but i dont belive in any special leashes or harnesses....or even treats for thet matter.
I did do treats for RIGHT behaviour initially ...and then i realized she was EXPECTING them.....so now i just reward her with kisses and BIG hugs...as well as ...YOU ARE A GOOD GIRL NINA!!!!
Onlookers must think i am nuts....but at only 16 weeks Nina is amazing us everyday...her behaviour is excellent....she is a true joy in our home!!

I totally agree. I was just thinking about the GL because I didn't think Luka would do well with the stopping. Sometimes, I tend to underestimate him, or try something and he doesn't catch on, but the next time I give him the comand, he does it!
I want Luka to learn to live around my life, not vice versa. I have a Christmas tree, he doesn't touch it, I have a plush moose on my couch, he doesn't mistake it for his. He has to learn- I do also, but I'm not going to do without just because he can't control himself :p
He also gets treats, but mosty praise. And he seems to prefer that anyway.
I am surprised how well he does at 16 weeks (today!).
