Hi,
I currently have one brindle boxer and she is the light of my life, next to my son. Her name is Olyviana. We call her Lyvi for short. She is always there every evening when I sit down to relax with her head on my knee. She is in heat now and we hope to breed this time. Any advice is welcome, as I have read everything I can, but nothing is as good as advice from someone who has been there.

Hello and welcome to Boxerworld :)

When you say "hope to become pregnant", I presume you're talking about your boxer? Well, this is a site that takes responsible breeding very seriously. So much so, that that is the only manner of breeding we will allow to be discussed on this site. So if you want to get advice here on breeding, you first need to send the site owner copies of the results of the screening you've done for the genetically inheritable diseases that plague this breed. Once those are received, you can ask all the breeding questions you like. The standard tests you'd need to provide the results of can be found at www.boxerworld.com/health_testing and the address to send scanned copies of the results on the contact page www.boxerworld.com/contact

hi. i take breeding issues VERY VERY SERIOUSLY and i have already fighted with a lot of people about this issue. including even my sister! i see your thread is not closed by moderators, so can i assume that you posted the health tests you were asked? if yes, i also welcome you to BW. if not, then i can only say that you shouldnt breed her. and i can also recommend you to do a serious research online about this matter. i repeat this to a lot of people all the time (i dont mean BW members) "dogs dont NEED to breed like humans" anywayz, i hope you will make the right choice

so sorry

Yes I did read the rules and did not see specifics about sending all my tests in tht I had done on my boxer, and yes I did have them done and I do take this very seriously as well. I will not ask or talk about the pregnancy then, because I will not be mailing my results to you. Hope that I can still be a part of this group, as I feel I could help other boxer lovers in caring for their friends.[
