Hello, I am the proud mom of a rescued boxer mix from the humane society named Sandy! She is our love. She is 1 1/2 year and still growing! We have found she has great allergies to flees and chicken. That is right chicken! It was hard to determine what was making here breakout so bad. It is real hard to find food with out chicken or chicken-by-product. Even your rice and lamb from Eukanuba has poulty by product. We have several other animals, a lab mix rescued from Wal-mart (less than year old), a 5 year old chihuahua, 3 miniature horses, two goats, a turtle and two goldfish. Oh, I almost forgot the hairless rat and snake in my son's room. She is a great friend and the surrogate mom to our lab-mix. She even let her nurse the first couple nights at home. They are kept in our kitchen at night. Each have a blanket and room under the cabinets.
Sandy is so well mannered and great with our children. Our three year old loves to play with her and he does not hesitate to remove any item from her mouth especially his toys. We worked hard on that when we brought her home.
