I am so glad to read that you are going to foster. In my opinion deciding to foster is a wonderful tribute to Duke, after all he came to you as a boxer in need of some good loving and to foster other boxers in need only goes to show that Duke taught you well. Duke made you realize that spreading that love and a warm cozy home and family that Duke came to know is the best way for you to fill the void right now yet still spread some of that boxer love around. Congratulations on your decision and I agree somewhere and sometime the boxer that was meant to be your next furchild will come along when you least expect it.

Duke will be smiling down on you I am sure ;)

Big huge hugs to you and your family.

I think that is great! I am a foster mom for NCBR of Texas and just love it...:) I have had some wonderful boxers come thru. It's great to see their personalities come out with a little TLC. I had one that we really wanted to keep as our own. She is a sweet gal, but one day her perfect forever home showed up and I didn't want to deny her that. So, a little sad, we sent her on her way. And she is very happy with her new family. :) It makes us very proud to see them end up in a great family and wonderful new life. :)
God Bless you for fostering these wonderful fur-babies!
