April 15, 2009 I had to say goodbye to my beloved Max. He was only 6 1/2 but developed a neurological problem and kidney failure. I've never experienced such pain in my heart. They say dogs leave a paw print on your heart and I know I have a paw sized hole in mine. I will miss him everyday, I just can't think about our home without him, it's so lonely. Max you were the best buddy ever, sweet, kind and you always seemed to know what I was saying and feeling. I'll miss your beautiful smushy nose and your sitting with me in the evening...tears never seem far away. Be at peace my buddy, I'll see you again. I love you Mom.
