Super Boxer
Hi Asagray,
We're flying with our boxer, Gracie, from CO to CA on Frontier in a week or so, too. We booked direct flights during the middle of the day and are hoping that the temps will be above 32. (I think Frontier's policy is that pets can fly if the forecast is above 32, and the restriction does include the return flight.)
Gracie has flown twice before and she seems to enjoy the airport (especially the escalators) and all of the people. We make an effort to tire her out before the flight in hopes that she will just sleep. So far, so good but I am always nervous that she won't make it onto the plane or something like that. The captain/pilot has to sign a form saying that he is aware of the live animal on board, so I always ask the flight attendant to let me know if/when that paperwork has been done to be sure she's on board. One of the airlines, can't remember if it was Frontier, even brought me a boarding pass for Gracie to let me know that she was on board.
