Riviera Oaks Dog Park
This Park was built by Volusia County in 2000 for stormwater run off on 35 acres of land. By a joint agreement between Volusia County and the City the retention pond area Volusia County maintains and the Dog Park area the City maintains. There are fenced in separate areas for small dogs, large dogs and special needs dogs to roam as they please without a leash and water is provided for the dogs to drink. The owners of the dogs are responsible for keeping them in control and cleaning up after them. There are doggie poop bags and garbage cans provided for the clean up. There are 2 restrooms, picnic pavilion, nature trail and a walking/jogging, exercise trail. There is a covered pavilion that was installed by the "Dog Fancier's Club" and they hold meetings there.
