So sorry you had to relive the event from the sketch, but between you and the other poor girl and the good ID you were able to give the police, they'll catch this nut soon enough!

I am so very glad that Fletcher was there with you and kept you safe-how scarey that must have been!
I too wonder if my boys would take care of me-I think somehow they just know the difference of a 'friendly' stranger vs. a bad one. I think they sense your fear and you emotion and know when it's something they need to protect you against! I am so glad this had a happy ending!!!

All Boxers Are Potential Heros

Your situation had huge possibilities for the worst and your baby did what seems to me what Boxers do best. They are angels on four legs. I love to hear stories like that, it just reenforces my love for the breed. My wife and I have had experiences similar to yours and our last baby Teysha definately prevented something that could have been very ugly. I'm not sure where yet but I'm going to relay my experiences with a Boxer hero and hopefully hear other stories because I know these dogs are capable of amazing things under the right owners. Fletcher kicked into "don't mess with my house or my pack" mentality. I think all boxers have that in them we just don't normally see it. Fletcher earned his keep that day. I'm glad you ended up safe and sound.

Good boy Fletcher! You know I think I'd be going back to the rescue for a couple more home security dogs! That is some scary stuff! I got my dogs because we have a alleyway behind my propery that people always walk through and it freaks me out. Since we've had the dogs and Dozer is so protective I haven't seen much activity back there. Glad you and Fletcher are ok.
