I have cold chills reading this. Thank the good lord that your buddy was looking out for you. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Our house was broke into a few years ago when we were remodeling it and not living in it. I know what we went through. It took me so long to feel safe at home. To open the door and see a man....Well thank god!!!

That was some story and I know that once you passed the fear stage, you were relieved to learn that Fletcher is such an awesome and fiercely protective dog. I do believe Fletcher saved your life without a doubt and he probably inadvertently saved the crook's life because had anything happened to you I'm sure hubby would have hunted him down and killed him!


It did concern me that you opened the door. For the people reading, never, ever open the door. Never, Ever, Ever.

I often say that Joy would probably make friends with an intruder, this gives me hope that she will sense the bad guys!!! Fletcher wasn't letting anyone get to HIS mommy! don't you just love him that much more now!
