Way to go Fletcher! And I totally agree with someone's earlier post - dogs have a 6th or 7th sense about them. If my Boxers don't like someone, I'm leary, too!

OMG kristy. wow thank goodnees for fletcher. what a good boy. I hope that if I was ever in that situation my dogs would come to my rescue. (I know they would) that is why I will always have a dog in my life. I am so glad to hear that you are fine and fletcher is also. give that boy a big bone from us. and lots of hugs and kisses.

We had both a plumber and a "computer- installation-man", both total strangers, in our house today and Pepik was just all wiggles! Well he does bark before they come in.
My nightmare is that somebody would break in with a knife or gun and hurt Pepik in the first place. But I can just hope that Pepik would scare them off in case somebody with bad intentions would break in. But it's hard to imagine because Pepik LOVES loves loves people.
(sorry for being lengthy but the plumber actually went away for lunch and came back and Pepik didn't even get up, he only raised his head lying down and turned one ear when the plumber came back the second time. I was almost disappointed with his guarding. Perhaps they have this 6th sense so they just KNOW.

Geez!!! this is unreal! first off, way to go fletcher. he deserves extra lovin tonight. i can't even believe this story. I am glad to hear you and fletcher are okay. things could have been a lot worse if it wasn't for him.

Thanks everyone for your thoughtful replies....I can't believe it happened either....this is a very safe area. Things like this NEVER happen around here. I live in Erie County...how about you?
