Fletcher, My husband and the dog crap incident

So my dh thinks he's really smart and always lets Fletcher out off his lead on his potty break at night. Stupid as evidenced by tonights little incident. Fletcher likes to run off, which you guessed it, he did tonight when dh took him out and let him off lead. Of course he went looking for Fletcher because he knew I would flip out about it. He was gone for 1/2 hour , I guess Fletcher came home in the meantime and was waiting on the step for him. So dh takes him into the garage and thats when he discovered it. FLETCHER WAS COVERED IN CRAP. He must have rolled in it :mad: So now he and dh are in the shower together getting scrubbed down and just for the record, I am NOT cleaning up that mess. That'll teach both of them.

I let Champ off his lead in the backyard only. I have always wanted to try to take him off on quiet walks, as my mom's dogs are always okay off leash, but I get so scared for just this reason. I think if Champ went missing for a half hour, I'd completely freak. Glad Fletcher came back and all is okay...even if there is crap everywhere :D

I would have freaked too, which I'm sure is why my husband went looking for him on his own and didn't tell me until after. He knows that if he came back without my dog, he'd be out!!!!!

OMG, I saw the title of your post and burst out laughing. Msx shot me a dirty look for interrupting his sleep.

Man, I'd be so pissed off. Chances are my husband would be more pissed off which I would find hysterical. Hopefully DH learned his lesson.

ROFLMAO!!! That is too funny!

A couple weeks ago we had my dad over for dinner. After dinner we sat in the living room talking. DH lets Roxy out to do her business, but when she came back in he didn't check her paws. Roxy comes flying in like a bat out of hell jumps on the loveseat my dad was on, jumps all over my dad for some loving, then she settles down. We continue our conversation, and dad says, "I smell crap." , only then did we notice that Rox had stepped in poo and gotten it ALL OVER my father, shirt, pants, everywhere, AND my loveseat! Lmao! Good thing dad has a good sense of humor!!
