What does everybody use on their boxers for flea & tick control? I have always used Frontline Advantage and have had not problems with it. I just saw advertised a product called Bio Spot that is alot less expensive than the frontline. I have read good reviews and bad reviews of this treatment.

Has anyone used the Bio Spot before, and if so what are your opinions on the product.

I'm also curious about what people use - especially any of the natural, herbal products. I've seen several types - collars and spray on. Any experience or recommendations?
Thanks!

I absolutely would NOT use Bio Spot, it is one of the "cheap" brands. I keep what I use to what is also sold at vet offices such as Frontline Plus, Advantage, Advantix, and Revolution. I do not use "generic" (for lack of a better name) such as Bio Spot, Hartz, and the like.

I use Frontline Plus and get it online at Vet Depot and it's only around $11 a month for my Boxers so it isn't too bad. I've also found that I can use it every 60 days rather than every 30 without issue so that's cut the bill for that in half. I also require that any dog that comes into my home be treated with either Frontline Plus or Advantage and I've never had a problem with either.

I use Frontline Plus.

It's interesting that you asked that question today. A colleague of mine asked the same question today. She said she administered Advantix to her two dogs yesterday and one responded negatively to do it. That dog did not eat following the administration and was staring at a wall. I told her to contact her vet immediately.

I've heard this to be a rather common possible side effect.

PERSONALLY I only use Frontline Plus or Advantage simply becuse I've never heard negatives on them.

I have been wondering about that also. I use Frontline Plus, and it is running me $50 for 3 tubes. I am going to check out the company you suggested BoxerMommie. Any little bit helps right now.
I have a couple friends that found a tick on them over the weekend. Thankfully they weren't "dug in" yet.
I think I will be getting food grade DE to put in our yard also. I know they can eat it as well, so I may do that also. Not sure if the cat will eat it or not. May have to put it in tuna or something.

It's free shipping and it's EPA approved for sale in the USA so it's the same stuff. I get 12 viles (a year's supply) for $134 so that should be quite a savings for you for sure. Hope it works out for you! I LOVE saving money LoL

I can't believe the price difference! Our tractor supply is charging $51 for 3 tubes. I will be ordering this definately. Thanks a million times over. Appreciate it, and Tyson is sending you a sloppy thank you kiss as well.
