Boxer Pal
Hi there,
I’m pretty to new to these forums but I have found it to be very resourceful!
Here’s my problem, I have a 8 month old boxer called TY, he is a Red Brindle but recently he seems to take some kind of fit, just recently he was out in the back garden doing his business then all of a sudden he just started to lay down and what sounded to be choking, I held him up he was sick but his eyes were so heavy he just collapsed in my arms he came out of it as quickly as it started and he was himself again... this really scares me because this isn’t
The first time it happened.
We were decorating the house and you know how curious boxers can be well he was ok until we heard him choking and falling about the place (there was white foam coming out of his mouth) I carried him outside so we could get air and he just collapsed like he was dead. I was panicking I got my neighbour to help me. Luckily he worked with cattle so he started to run his neck and to help him and it worked he was back to him old self again...
Ive been to the vet he’s taken some blood from him and a urine sample he says everything seems 'ok' but since she didn’t have a good listen to his heart he has to see a heart specialist at the vet...
Im pretty scared at this point not sure what’s wrong with TY, I just hope doesn’t suffer from fits :(
Has anyone had anything like this with their boxer?
Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I appreciate any input at all
