well.. i just ordered a 5 pound bag of Canidae.... will see how Princess will like it.. if she likes it i will buy more of it.. i'm hoping she will like it.. i just wanna get her on something a lot better then purina dog chow... who else feeds their dog Canidae and how do your pups like it???

After hearing so much good about Canadae I switched a week ago but I think I went about it all wrong. I started out half Canadae and half Nutro and I would gradually add alittle more Canadae every couple of day's until yesterday it was all Canadae. My mistake was Sadie had loose stools the entire time until yesterday all the way diarreaha, I learned that I should have let her stools firm up before increasing her Canadae. (Not so smart momma here) Now she is on a bland diet of chicken and rice with a tablespoon of pumpkin (thanks to gmacleod's help) and hopefully we will settle her tummy down a bit.

I switched Oscar from Nutro to Canidae a couple of months ago and he has done great on it. His stool 100% scoopable for the first time. He doesn't need to eat nearly as much either. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone.

My female and foster male both did great on Canidae. They enjoyed it, and I like the ingredients, so I will definitely keep in in my rotation (they are on Innova currently)

how big of a bag should i get since i have one boxer and at the moment i have to buy it online??i just dont want to run out of it once she is on it.. if i bought a 40lbs bag would it go bad? or should i just buy 20lb bags??

yay! i got my 5lbs bag of Canidae yesterday so i opened it and gave Princess a few pieces of kibble and she loves it!! so do the cats.. haha.. they've been trying to get in the bag to eat it.. looks like i'll have to buy Felidae for them.. i bought a 40lbs bag of food last night online and got a e-mail today saying it should be here in 3-4 business days.. tomorrow i will start to switch her over slowly..

Recently switched Maximus from Nutro to Canidae after reading so many good things about it. The clincher was the sample from a recent dog show.... he scarfed it right down!

We are on our 2nd 40 pound bag of Canidae and i am rather pleased. Its a bit high in calories compared to what they were eating(chicken soup), so i have had to cut Telmar's food back because he is getting chunky.. I have been feeding Sasha 4 cups a day...she is so skinny....she is starting to fill out a little bit. One thing i do love is her eye stains are completely gone....white boxer owners know what i am talking about! She is so pretty...both have beautiful coats. My only complaint is their stools are not as firm as they were on chicken soup. I wonder if its the lack of fruits/veggies in it?

I switched my babes from Nutro to Canidae. On Nutro, Lexi was having diarrhea and within a matter of a few short days, her stool hardened up. Now, her stool isn't hard hard, but it's at a level of solidity (is that a word?) that looks well within the healthy and normal range.
