Now I have heard that a lot of boxers can have this from reading the forums, however, Sierra has been on 2 rounds of antibiotics and an anti inflamatory, a cream and other stuff and she still has it. We are going to the vet on Friday for her next round of shots and I was curious if maybe anyone else here has had this same problem.

It seems to be a yellow creamy looking substance almost like puss. Every once in a while she will also just pee the bed and she seems to have frequent urination. The antibiotics are not helping it seems. Any ideas?

Ive got a appointment for tula tonight at 4:30 because of the same symtoms. We went through 1 week of calvimox because the vet thought it was puppy vaginosis and it did nothing. She said if the clavimox didnt make it go away it maybe a unrinary tract infection. Ill post back with what happens tonight.

Our Zoey had the same problem. She had the yellowish discharge on her. She had a urinalysis done and was treated with antibiotics for a Urinary Tract Infection. Our vet originally thought it might be vaginosis but went ahead with the urinalysis and found the UTI.

Our Annie had the same type of discharge. It was very small, yet noticable to me. She had no urinary problems associated with it, and the vet told us this small amount was normal. All is well.

We gave them a urine specimen, I wonder if it was too early for them to diagnos it. At first they thought it was vaginitis and gave us a cream to inject into her vagina, and an antibiotic, then when that didn't help they gave us another antibiotic and told us to give her plain yogurt with her meals. This is almost 10 days later and she still has it. Very annoying, not sure what else it can be other than trying another unrinalysis to see if something shows up now, not sure what they are going to do about it.

Thanks for all the help it sounds like the vet is treating the same way so far.

Tati always had a bit of this too. During the time she also had two sets of antibiotics (for other things, tho) and it never went away. Now that we have had her spayed, she never has it anymore!

Lexie just got done with 1 week of anti-biotics. The vet thought she has vaginitis as well, but her discharge has come back too. I've read on BW that female puppies have this and its very normal, basically getting her spayed will fix the problem.

Have they done any tests on your baby? Or have then just been putting her on antibiotics and other medications? if they haven't you might ask them to test for something... that might narrow it down a bit.

Well it sounds like we're all on the same page!

Vet tried to get a urine sample but tula wouldnt cooperate. She gave us a stronger antibiotic and we will bring her in for a update this monday when she gets her 3rd round of puppy shots.

Our vet was concerned with the amount of discharge. She took her temp and it was 101.6. Tulas acting fine and peeing ok.
