update:
chewy is learning that the crate is his bed!
i have seen such a huge improvement, he goes into his crate on his own sometimes and no accidents in the house....dare i say.. i think hes house broken...

this morning though he woke me up at 6:30 am cause i heard him throwing up, it seems he swallowed a whole long piece of rawhide and it came out. Can anyone recommend treats or rawhide that are safer in case he forgets to chew it again...

Also I switched from eukanuba to royal canin and have noticed..umm smelled a difference...hes farting like crazy, its been two weeks since i changed his food and boy does he drops some bombs...is this normal?

I would avoid giving him rawhides or any other dried body part to your dog - ever. Too many dogs have choked to death on those things, and countless more with food poisoning (mildest signs of which are vomitting and diarrhoea). To save me typing it out again, there is a little about what is and isn't safe to give your puppy to chew at the bottom of this page: www.boxerworld.com/faq Alternatively, you could do a search of the forums on rawhide - there's plenty of previous threads.

As for the gas, it could be the food change and will settle down in time. Or it could be just that the Royal Canin isn't the best food match for him. Either way, a spoonful or so of natural yoghurt each day can help a lot with that.
