feeding a raw filet?

Bentley's 1 year birthday is coming up on the 16th and was wondering if giving him a small raw steak filet be a good idea? Could it cause any issues? He has been on dry kibble since we got him and he has never ate anything raw.

I am sure that Bentley would love a nice raw steak. Just be aware that he could get some diarrhea with a sudden change in diet.

When I changed Rogue from dry to raw I used to cook the meat first, then I slightly reduced the cooking till I ended up with raw, that way it didn't upset Rogue's tummy.

Well we picked him up a filet and took your advice dharmadoodle and lightly cooked it. He had a nice rare steak. He didn't even hesitate to eat it. I think I'm going to look more into the raw diet for him instead of commercial food.

I just switched my 3 over a week ago. No poop issues. No problems and they eat with such a frenzy. They love it!!

For me, it is so much cheaper than their regular diet.
