Boxer Pal
Hi All:

We have a new family member...a 3 month old male boxer puppy. We have a feeding dilema. I think the little guy is tooskinny. You can see every rib and bone. He's getting a cup of puppy food twice a day. I don't think it's enough.

Please help///it's been over 20 years since we last had a puppy.

Thanks

Mark

If you do a search here at Boxerworld, using the search button at the top of each forum page, and use search terms such as "puppy AND feeding" you will find TONS of information on this subject.

Briefly, boxers don't fill out till late. They grow in spurts and usually look pretty skinny for a good 5 to 6 months. The tend to grow in other directions first, then fill out. So, if your dog is healthy and you are keeping records of his actual weight gain, you'll be able to judge whether or not he's growing and can adjust his feed accordingly.

Good luck.
