Jessie is now 3 1/2 years old and she has become afraid of everything. She started to develop this behavior about almost a year ago and we thought she would soon grow out of it but she hasn't. We live in NYC which is where she is raised. There's lot of noise, people, dogs etc... and she should be used to it. We've socialized her the best we can by taking her to the dog run daily, allowing everyone to pet her, and bringing her to our friends home. She's scared over the slightest noise, bags blowing in the wind, sudden movements, large objects and strangers. She almost feels like people are out to get her. She constantly looks behind us when we go out for walks. I feel so bad for her because I don't think she's enjoying the walks as much as she should. She's doesn't have guarding tendencies, she just wants to runaway.
