favorite boxer (chew!) toys

Hi
I am at a loss for keeping my Otto "entertained" when I'm busy or not at home. He has good quality chew toys and sometimes he uses them......sometimes he eats his new bed or blankie!!!Then Mom says GRRRRRRRR!!!!!

What are your boxer pals chewing on these days and how do you keep them happy? I've seen a new nylabone the "galeleo" and treat balls that use your voice. Anyone got any comments on these?

Otto can chew up a regular Nyla "Dinobone" in a couple of days and at $8 a piece this is spendy. Also, he'd love a play date this winter. Anyone there in the Twin Cities, MN have good doggie venue ideas?

Have you tried a Kong?

Nash loves it, and it is the only thing that she has not destroyed. If I have to leave her alone in her crate, I fill it with treats and peanut butter, or cheese. It keeps her busy for quite a while.

You can also try a hard rubber ball, one that is a little too big for his mouth, he will not be able to destroy it as quickly either.

Another suggestion would be a knotted rope, Nash doesn't like it as much, but I think other members have had good luck with it. On the up side, it is supposed to act like dental floss for their teeth.
