Just wanted to post a link to this story in a seperate thread. Andy had this done a few weeks ago and is recovering quite well!

Wow, that is neat! I forwarded on the article to my vet and his assistant. Do you feel Andy is recovering more quickly with the stem cell therapy versus not having it?

I am glad Andy is recovering well! Thanks for the info. I think I'll mention this to Thor's surgeon on Monday. Thankfully we haven't had this issue, but when I was waiting in the lobby one day there were three dogs in there that had had the surgery.

Dr White seems to think he is recovering quickly and with good movement. THe site where they took the fat cells is recovring slowly and has been filling with fluids but that is because we gave him a little too much freedom in the living room and the stitches inside were not healing properly. He is strickly cage bound now and doing alot better with that. But the knee is really doing well!
