fast breathing at rest

Hey all, my 8 week old baby boy seems to breath very fast and heavy when asleep. I hope its just because he has been playing lots and its just a puppy thing. how long does this last and is it normal?
He is a very happy and playful little guy and shows no signs of illness but I have to ask to ease my mind all the same.

is it constant or is it just in periods? if it is constant, it might be worrysome but if it is just in periods he is probably just dreaming.

You might want to ask the vet if he does it the entire time he is sleeping.

I think its just after he has been playing because its not as fast now.... he is very relaxed ......and its normal rate when he is up and about.
OMG he is so clever, he just woke up and walked to the door so i let him out and he went to the toilet......good little guy.

Ruby will breathe fast periodically when she's asleep, maybe when she's dreaming, she's zonked right out now after playing hard with her best pal Bandit in the park
