oh yes that's right you've just clicked on a thread about farts!'My boxer is sitting right beside me and she can't stop farting. They really smell. Could it be in what i feed her?
I feed her
2cups supercoat
1 cup pasta(she digests it fine)
1 raw lamb off cut

once a week:
raw egg white
bone

Try yougart, that should help. Max does occassionally but I feed him Nature's Variety kibble, use to feed bil-jac and he still didn't have gas, just ocassionally.

Plain natural yoghurt - the stuff with acidophillous, bifidous or other bacterial culture in it. Yoghurt works against gas by boosting the "good" bacteria in your dog's gut. Won't cure the gas completely, but it usually helps a lot.

You could also take a look at his food for causes. I feed a raw diet, and find that if I feed too much fat (chicken skin, beef or lamb fat) then my dog gets very gassy. As long as I limit the fat, he's fine. With kibble, the ingredients causing gas are usually fats/by-products or difficult-to-digest gains such as corn.

The first week or so that I brought Vegas home, her gas was bad enough to clear the room...lol. As I was switching her food over from the breeder's to Eagle Pack brand, her gas seemed to lesson and even though she's still a little farter, it isn't nearly as bad. This food is great... all organic ingredients and very well balanced. I mix about 2 tablespoons of the canned Eagle Pack into her kibble at each meal and she just loves it. She literally sings for her supper... lol!! For anyone who doesn't feed a raw diet and wants a healthy alternative, this food is excellent. Might even help your boxer's fart problem too!!

Just a tablespoon or so is fine :) It can be every meal or every other meal, as required.
