Hi I have a question about eye staining like you know when your dogs eyes are running and it leaves stains .My white boxer and my flashy brindle boxer both have those stains any home remedys to help remove them it is hard to get off even with a regular bath.If anyone has any home made remedys or knows of somewhere i could get something that will help remove it it would be of great appreciation .:)

You can buy various products at the pet store that will remove it, but the best thing is to change their diet and they won't have tear stains.

Finn is white and had stains when we first adopted him, but once I changed his diet to Wellness the stains went away, now when his eyes run the liquid is clear and does not stain.

We use hydrogen peroxide once a week followed by a damp soft cloth. You do have to be very careful not to get any of ther peroxide in the eyes and completely wet the area down afterwards...dunno if this will work for your flashy brindle though. I also have friends who swear that a change in diet works.
I also have friends who have switched to filtered water and said within a week the staining stopped (I think they used a brita filter)...
