My female has started getting ~serious~ eye boogies and most recently has the same looking discharge from her, well, girl part. Does eye boogies and this type discharge have anything to do with one another? The eye boogies started around the same time I started experiencing allergies myself, so I assume she has "spring air" allergies, but I'm not so sure about the other. What do you think?

According to my breeder, (because I asked the same questions about Dottie) the eye boogies are bad when they have allergies.(Dottie has allergies to certain grasses, and certain pollen)I have her on Benedryl.
And since I have never owned a female dog before, I had to ask about these random, single strands, that look clear, coming from her private part. Kinda grossed me out, the first time I saw it.That is normal, too.

Are they green? If so, you may have an eye infection on your hands. My Lily gets them all the time. You just have to go to the vet and get some ointment to put in them.

We use to have this problem with the eye boogers, but we fed them Marrow bones, straight from the butcher, we stopped to get some meat, got to talking bout dogs, an he takes a whole bone slices it in 1-2 slices an we freeze them it comes to bout 8-10 lbs. an we will give each of the dogs one every couple of days. The marrow is good for them, the bones keep them busy an there teeth clean, an we really have not had any problems with the runny eyes or the boogers, We are in Arizona an have been going threw allergy season an the dogs seem fine
