:) Don't feel bad, it took me a while to figure it out myself. . . and then I realized it's something every Boxer owner sees on a daily basis. Kidney Beaning is when your Boxer practically turns himself inside out with happiness ~ he curves his body around so his face and tail are close together and just wiggles like mad. My favorite is the "walking" kidney bean where they move toward you in this U shape, just wiggling all the way. Probably not the most articulate explanation, but I hope it helps!

Mom3 said it all, they turn in the shape of a kidney bean! We even call Ozzy Kidney bean sometimes! Try the search engine, a lot of kidney beaning

That's the best - I love when Wagner does that!

This is funny because I really thoght something was wrong with Aby when she started doing this. My parents boxer, Boe, never does this, believe me, he shakes his butt, but he doesn't kidney bean. I would've thought something wrong with her if I haven't read about it here. I think it is the best thing to come home to!

I thought for the longest time it was because they have no tail....that they couldnt wag thier tail so they just move their whole body in U shapes. I grew up with a cocker spaniel with a docked tail and she used to "wag" her whole body. I love it. Ram will Kidney bean against my leg and I scratch his back and he wiggles back and forth. Too cute. Gotta love the kidney bean dance!:p

This is hilarious!! I thought my boxers were the only ones that did this and I didn't know there was a name for it. My 3 year old (Eva) stays on the floor when she wiggles but my youngest (Chloe) is almost a year old and jumps in the air while she bends in half! We can't help but convulse with laughter every time we come home, it's such a wonderful greeting. They also run through the house like a heard of elephants while doing this, it's like they're celebrating our return.

:D

There is nothing better in this world than being greeted at the door with your boxer doing a walking kidney bean dance!

I am so glad that someone asked this question, because I was going to ask it sooner or later! I love when Molly does this!
