Jazmine, is 9 mo. and still will pee when she meets, other
people other than my wife and I. My vet, has said that it should stop around 9 mo., so far it looks like its going to be a while.
Any body have any ideas on training to help this problem?

You can try keeping the dog calm when visitors come. Put the dog on leash, have her sit/stay until she's calm and then open the door. Take her with you on leash when you come in with your guests and have her sit/stay next to you until calm. Then once she is settled, you can let her off leash to meet the guests, etc.

Ask your guests not to engage the dog in any way until she is calm.

Good luck.

Harley does the same thing. We have learned to let her outside right before the company arrives. That helped tremendously. Also, ask your guests to just ignore the dog when they arrive. Once your baby calms down then your company may pet and love on your dog. That has helped us too.

Ignoring your dog sometimes is a very good thing...

Zoe (3yrs) still does that. We've tried everything! Even when you make her sit and stay. She'll stay, but as soon as the first person speaks to her she pees everywhere! (and slings it too cause her butt is shaking so fast) The only thing we can do is have her go outside to greet our guest, then you just have to watch your shoes!!:D
