Just wondering if there is everything is OK with Shadow, he's 10 months old now and seems to be doing excessive poops, he'll do 5-6 full size poops per day, and if out walking he may go 2-4 times.

He is not being over fed, has plenty of exercise & fresh water. He is also very often very sloppy with his poop & when walking him on the street this can be very very embarrassing.

Anything i can do ?

Well, some dogs just do poop more than others ;)

But food can have a lot to do with it also. If you're feeding him a food that's very high in grains and fillers (which is extremely likely in the UK - dry dog food is not high quality here) then you've got to figure that he's going to poop most of that out. Dogs don't digest grains well at the best of times, so most of it gets passed as waste.

If you're not already doing so, you could try cutting back on the dry food and replacing some of it with meat instead (either raw or cooked is fine). Then he should actually process more of his food (and that means less passed as waste). Depending on exactly what you're feeding, there may be some scope for feeding a higher quality dry food also.

The smallest and firmest poops are always those passed by raw-fed dogs, btw ;)

my dogs used to poop 6+ times a day when fed kibble (even the better stuff). I recently switched to raw food and the difference has been amazing.
They now go about 3 times all are small and solid.
