Excessive drooling

I have a boxer and he is drooling nonstop. It is coming out of his mouth like water. My floor is completely wet from it. Does anyone have any ideas about what could be wrong with him? Other than that he seems fine.

Does he do this all the time? Or is this a new occurence? It's called hypersalivating, Herkie did this once for a about 2 weeks...but it was from hunger(different story) and nausea. Extreme nausea could cause this condition, has he ingested anything that you're aware of...been chewing on any plants? If it's not the norm for him, and continues...I'd make a trip to the vet.

It is not the norm for him. This morning he has quit drooling.

Markus drooled excessively when he had tonsilitis. They can also drool when they have eaten sometime that didn't agree with them.

I was glad to hear that the drooling has stopped.
