excercise after neutering

9 month old Luca is going to be neutered soon. The vet says no walks for 10 days after, this really scares me, how on earth am I going to keep him occupied for that long?

The concern after neutering is usually with running and (especially) jumping - the sorts of exercise/activity that can tear internal stitches. There shouldn't really be a problem with plain walking though. Thus, if it's a choice between the dog going nuts running round the house or jumping around - or taking him for long walks on leash (no runnning off leash though), then I'd choose the latter.

I agree with gmacleod...when Rolen was neutered we took him out in the yard to do his business with the leash on to make sure he wouldn't jump or run, but we took him for a nice long walk everyday, sometimes even twice a day. It kept all of us sane!
