thought I would share this with all of you who are clock watching just waiting for Friday to be over as I am:) My husband and I got Biggie in January as we have always wanted a dog:) well, our two cats were less than pleased about this and mommy (me) has been feeling kind of guilty ever since...One of our kitties just does not want to be anywhere near Biggie and the other swipes at his little tushy when he runs by..Anyway....
I thought I would give the kitties a real treat and had read about how much cats like to chase bubbles (who knows where i read it) so off to the drugstore I go to get some non-toxic bubbles for the cats..I get all excited when I get something new for the cats (lishi and gellie) or for the Biggie cause I just can't wait to give them their new toys!! I run upstairs with my brand spankin new bottle of bubbles and am ready to test...
first, i spill nearly 1/4 of the jar onto my pillowcase..just cause I am clumsy I guess or maybe it was the excitement of a new toy (sounds like i am getting a new toy not the cats LOL)...
so I remove the pillowcase and am ready, Behold the Bubbles!!!
Gellie, our male cat who does not want to be near biggie and usually stays upstairs (at least since we got biggie) looked at me like whatcha doin??? so I blow some bubbles for him fully expecting him to be dancing with delight trying to chase each individual scrumptious bubble..ummm nope, no way, wishful thinking..Gellie hightailed it out of that room tail poofed and cockles(is that what the hair on the back is called) standing high!! His eyes were sooooo wide and he looked at me like why the heck did you do that? I just felt so badly::)( needless to say I have not tried attempted to introduce the bubble monster(as it is now deemed in my home) to lishi our female cat and the monster is now hidden for what I think to be a long long while...

Use the bubbles with Biggie instead. Most dogs love to chase bubbles. :)

Not my dog!!!!!
I've read a lot about the bubbles and the Boxers chasing them having a great time.. I was jealous so I went and got bubbles too. I was very excited too at first, then Krose got excited because he knew I got something for him. He sat in front of me like he always does when he knows he's going to get something.
I made the bubbles and woo hoooo sound came from me not Krose:rolleyes:
He was still sitting so patiently and looking at me as if why the heck was I not giving him the toy already???????
He then got impatient and took the thing that you know, you blow to make bubbles. I was schocked:eek:
No more bubbles for us for I don't have th equipment anymoresmashicon

Hehe, we heard about dogs liking bubbles ourselves. My wife stopped by the pet store and actually found bacon flavored bubbles, packaged with a nifty little bubble gun. We tried it out on our two boxer pups.......Otto loved it, and went running around trying to bite them all before they hit the ground. Our other boxer, Bodhi, just sat there watching Otto run around like a maniac. While I realize we are suckers for nifty gimmics, bubbles aren't a bad way to try and have some fun with your dogs....definately not that expensive either. And if you are lucky enough to have a dog that enjoys them, the laughter is well worth the investment.
