Everyone meet Kota!!!

Hello Lar. I remember when I had two Boxer puppies. It was one of the most enjoyable things ever in my life.

I wouldn't worry about it. Your girl has got time to grow. I think at 12 weeks Kota was about 22 lbs.. sounds like your girl is right on. Kota has a boxer girlfriend named Cassie, she is about 5 weeks -older- then my Kota and weighs just about 25 lbs, and she is healthy. I think Kota is a little big for her age. She's got big feet and you can see the muscles in her legs and arms- I think she'll be a big girl. Kota is eating the Nutro too, and Cassie's Daddy just swiched her over to Nutro too to try to put a little weight on her. (I don't know if it's the food that keeps her weight up though)

That is very funny that our dogs have the same name and same bed.:D I think it is better that you named your dog Dakota. We should have done the same, cause my dog's name is Kota but everyone calls her Dakota anyways.:rolleyes:

Thank you everyone for all your replies. I'll keep you all informed of her funny stories.:D And I'll try to upload some more pictures a little later.

That is funny -- because we usually call Dakota - Kota or Kotor Motor or Kote the Mote -- rarely is it Dakota.

NOBODY calls their boxer by their original given name on a regular basis. For more information on this subject - please refer to the "silly boxer nicknames" thread.

We boxer people are nuts when it comes to naming our dogs!!!

Anyway - Enjoy your Kota!!!
