Eosinophilic Bronchopneumopathy (EBP)-any info or experience

I volunteer for a boxer rescue and one of our adopted boxers has possibly been diagnosed with this, and it is apparently very rare. We are looking for any information the awesome community of Boxerworld folks may have - experience, prognosis, anything would be helpful.

There is quite a bit of information online.

Seems they aren't really sure what causes it but it is believed to be due to heart worms or allergens. Most dogs display an excellent response to oral corticosteroid therapy (prednison)
