Elk Antlers?

I just picked up some dog food at the local boutique and they had elk antlers for sale. It stated that they don't splinter, help clean teeth, and had minerals.

Anyone have info or experience with this??

We use native deer antlers,(we hunt and friends do) we don't have them all the time, the elk are so expensive, here in Wisconsin they had one about 3-4 inches for $8.00 I find that out of line.
They do NOT splinter, as they are like a nail, or a cow hoof

Like anything that can be ingested, we only allow them while we are with them, at night watching TV, or sitting out relaxing. I wouldn't give one in a crate.

I don't have advice, just wanted to say, if it's the whole antler, holy crap!!! I know how big they are. LOL
Anxious to see if anyone knows.
