Sorry to hear Roscoe is not feeling well. Is he on any meds currently?

Our Tyson vomitted quite frequently and we could pretty much tell as time went on that it often preceded a seizure, in his case, caused by his being hypothyroid.

Rosco's ultrasound was mostly fine. We looked at his heart which looked normal. And the abdominal scan showed no tumors or blockages. His kidneys, spleen, liver, etc. look good. They said he shows some signs of IBD which would explain the vomiting but not the fainting episode. We re-ran his bloodwork and that is now back to normal too. He seems to be back to his normal self and only vomited once in the last week.

Poor Rosco is STILL having stomach issues. Its comes & goes. Every time I think its over it starts up again. We recently had him on 10days of Flagyl and he was great. That was the 1st time (since early Feb) that he went two weeks without vomiting. Now he's been off the Flagyl for about 4days and he is starting to get sick again. The vet suggested low dose steroids but I really don't want to put him on steroids. Right now I'm just giving him Pepcid and also pumpkin because the extra fiber seems to help. Anyone have tips for a dog with IBD?

Poor boy! I hate when you can't seem to get it quite right. Personally I would do another round of flagyl and add probiotics to build up the good bacteria. And then keep him on the probiotics. You want to keep the good bacteria growing strong so that the bad bacteria cannot come back.
