Electric toothbrush

Owen (4.5 years) and Tegan (7.5 years) are very good dogs! They are even tempered and don't get too excited any more (they have finally started to calm down). Well that was until I bought an electric toothbrush!!!

The first time I used it they both barked at me non stop until I was done. The second time was more barking, but this time they REALLY wanted to GET the toothbrush. It has been a week with the new gadget and Tegan has finally given up, but Owen HATES it!

I have tried to desensitize them with it, bringing it our periodically throughout the day and treating them for a calm reaction... Owen goes NUTS when he sees it still (on or off) - I guess it will take some more time with him.

So beware when you buy an electric toothbrush that it will make your Boxers go crazy!

Gotta love them.

My two thought the water pic was bad, I'd hate to see them if I got an electric toothbrush!

I use an electric toothbrush but i bought it years ago and Avra was a puppy then so now we have not problem,but 6 months ago i bought a little electric massage machine and Avra was so curious to see what it was:D
Looks like she thinks that this massage machine wants to kill me and every time that i turn the machine on,she wants to lay my body

Why do they pick on certain appliances? Ha ha ha. Mooshy hates the hair dryer and the vacuum cleaner.

Better keep your toothbrush out of reach, ha!!!!!!!!

That is so funny!!!!

Krose doesn't like them but doesn't care either!! The only thing he can't stand is my dancing :eek: He jumps on me and starts barking and woowooing and then we start dancing together which I think he doesn't like much but goes with it anyway:D

thats so funny now dont laugh but i use a electric toothbrush to clean naz's teeth he just lies there and lets me do it its really funny he goes all frothy in the mouth and he loves the the taste of toothpaste i do use baby toothpaste though cause hes my baby of course!!!!!!!!!

Jed always barks at me when I'm drying my hair, so I have to shut the door in his face, he gets most offended...

Oh my that has to be hilarious. Poor Owen he must be so confused! How can such a small thing make so much noise!

Gazou doesn't mind the electric toothbrush or the hair dryer (he gets dried with it after his bath) But my cat Panther hates the buzzing of the toothbrush with a passion, he is the same with the cake mixer. He will start hitting anything and everything around in case the noise comes from there. I think it bothers him because he can't figure out where the noise comes from.

I hope Owen eventually learns to accept the toothbrush!

There really isn't mutch that bothers Samson. The he is fine with the tooth brush, and about every other appliance in the house. But there is one thing that he just literally dispises, and that is the ironing board!! Anytime he sees me getting it out, he runs!! And then I have to make sure I have the iron off the board to cool because he will sneek around for a suprise attack on it! It is the cutest thing!

Funny Boxers!

I am not sure why he picks on the toothbrush! I guess it's new and he doesn't trust it yet - it hasn't passed the Owen's test yet

He is getting better slowly. He had reduced from a bark to a whine... He can be dead asleep and as soon as her hears that toothbrush he comes running! "Queen" Tegan just lies there in disgust.
