Elderly Boxers

Lisa is 5 years old and reading the previous posts I am wondering how long we are going to be together. She has had no serious illness of late (touch wood, fingers crossed, etc....) and she still acts like a puppy. I keep wondering when is she going to settle down. In human years she is about 32 years old. Another 50 to go.
What fun we are going to have with the zimmer frames.

Ederly Boxers are so cute, clio just turned 9 back in March and every day i come home seeing her with her greying face makes me get on my knees and hug her and give her belly rubs. She still acts like a puppy with lots of kidney beans and the occasional bolt around the house or our inground pool in the back yard, or when my nephews are over and they have her running around in 10 different directions at once. Each day i'm thankful for the joy's she's given me and our family each day i come home i try as hard as i can to show her how much she means to me.

Our Leesha went to the Rainbow Bridge last August at 9 yrs old. We rescued her when she was 6 and only had her for 3 short years, but they were awesome. She had such a beautiful grey face in her last year and was such an absolute doll. We still miss her terribly. She was such a gentle soul with the kids and my daughter's pillow buddy. Godspeed my little monkey face.

Me too! Our Sophie will be 10 in August and I love her soft white face. She was in the kitchen with me tonight and I was thinking how much I love her & fretting about how old she was getting, then she followed me through the house grabbed her big pink soft toy and proceeded to wind up Dino for a play. So there I am worrying about my elderly boxer and she's running round like nutter - silly girl
