Eats His Poop

This is a 4 months puppy, and he can't stop eating his poop.
What can be done to stop this?

Do not let him not to eat poop.Best you can do is to teach him to take something only when you say so.Start with a food,then with a treats,and of cause practice No`s.

This is a fairly common behavior and the exact cause is unknown. You can speak to your vet about food additives which make the waste taste bad to stop the problem or be vigilent about clean-up. In Iowa frozen poo often ends up as a cool toy and I am outside cleaning alot

Our Paulette does the same thing. One thing that we do is to add meat tenderizer to her food. It always works for us. HTH!
