Hello Everyone!
There's a new addition to our Family... Princess fawn (16 months) now has a boyfriend!!! Zoom, 3 yrs old brindle male.. He's a stud, the breeder gave him to me to try and help Princess with eating cause she's not eating enough and loosing weight. Her allergies are just crazy. I'm puting her through detox right now and in order to get it done properly i need to get her to eat. My question is....how do you get two different dogs to eat their own food without eating the others??
ANy suggestions are greatly Appreciated!!!

They need to be separated in some fashion. You could feed them on opposite sides of the room and stand guard in the middle, feed in different rooms, or feed them in crates.

It might be temporary or it might have to be permanent just depending on how they are. I can now feed my two just a couple of feet apart - I give them their food at the same time and they both eat it right away then swap and lick each others bowls. I still make sure I'm in the same room in case their is a problem, but I don't stand in between them anymore since neither one shows any issues with food. (My first one did get better about eating right away after we adopted the second, though. He used to have days when he would just pick, but now he eats it all when fed, which is what I want him to do so I don't have to worry about the other one eating too much.)

I've tried to feed them in separate rooms and they just won't eat! Princess has real bad allergies and she can't have Zoom's food! I guess I'll just keep trying and maybe try the same room and stand guard. Thanks for your suggestions!
