Eating weeds

Laila eats grass and weeds all the time, I am always pulling grass out of her mouth and she loves the woody rooted weeds...drives me crazy but she has never been sick because of it...oh well...Barbara

My boxers have eaten grass since we have had them particularly if they have been playing hard or have been out on long walks, however I have noticed if they are feeling unwell they tend to eat more grass than usual-my vet also said it is harmless. Just another quirky thing boxers do I think

I say that Bodie "likes nature". He eats it all. Flowers, weeds, grass, plants, bugs...if he can get it in his mouth he'll eat it. I don't think there is anything wrong with his stomach because he'll eat anything any chance he gets and he's always been that way. I met a man last weekend who said his boxer did the same thing but outgrew it. I've got my fingers crossed.

My girl Willow eats weed all the time. It drives me bananas. It doesn't seem to hurt her and I think she does it out of boredom, although she has like a million toys.

Bandit too!

I am constantly chasing him around our 2 acres to get the weeds out of his mouth! He also insists on eating the dirt from a certain spot in our yard, I have to get that out of his mouth and nose!
