Eating toilet paper

And when I mow my yard it sometimes looks like a ticker tape parade!!!! All the digested tp goes flying!!! oh gezzz..... I love my boxer!!!!

And he loves paper products... tp, bills, money... he's eaten all of them...

YES!!! I laughed so hard when I read this, my parents' yard is the same way! And we're always amazed at how much they get into behind our backs! The yard tells all!

With our first boxer, Tyler, his thing was bread. Anywhere you stashed a loaf of bread he would find it and eat the whole thing! Sometimes he even ate the plastic wrapper. Never seemed to cause him any trouble... but we had to hide the bread in the oven. We tried hiding it on the top shelf of the pantry and he still managed to get it down. One time we forgot a loaf was in the oven and we turned it on to preheat and we melted and burned up a loaf of bread! What a mess! I was always amazed that he never got sick from eating an entire loaf of bread...

Thank the Lord ours have not figured out the TP roll idea yet. BUT, if it is already unrolled and laying around (thanks to the cats) it is history. Any paper towl, klenexx, paper, news paper, calendar....basically ANYTHING made out of paper is fair game. And it is no fun to eat it.....we have to shred it get it all wet and throw it at each other!!!

reggie is the same way. Plus every once and awhile if i forget to close the door, the TP will be pulled down the hall and into my bedroom. I think he thinks he is hiding by taking it in the bedroom to get his "fix" he forgets that he leaves the complete trail of TP from the roll to the scene of the crime.

The covered garbage cans do not work either. Ruckus would just drag the whole thing into the living room, turn it over and open it himself. Then Ali, Miss Innocent, would join in for big fun! They do however, have "pet proof" garbage cans. They are about $200 and we were about to get one when Ruckus passed and surprisingly enough no more garbage can parties. We know now it was ALL him! Cross your fingers for me Dempsey doesn't decide to throw the same types of parties when he gets older!!

Lisa has done it once.
It reminded me of the Andrex advert but then she is not a labrador !
Kids thought it was great fun until I got them to clean it up.
What she does enjoy is the inner cardboard tubes especially of kitchen roll.

Garin has the bad habit of grabbing the end of the roll while it is still on the holder and running with it...so its like a streamer of TP. I told him the other night that when he starts paying for it, he can do with it what he wants...

the other night I went next door for a couple of minutes, yes minutes, and when I returned he had TP all over the rug along with about 10 of my shoes. I have posted a picture in my gallery (may take a minute to upload), it is kind of fuzzy because i took it with my phone, but I think yall can get an idea.

Ali loves T.P. He chews up used kleenex too. It like, way don't I just pick my nose and give it to you next time????

Dozer loves it too! He found where we keep it and opens the cabinet with his feet! But now he's moved on to grabbing the holder and pulls the whole roll off then we have to search behind the toilet for the springy rod "Boing" He He HE!

sophie loooooves tp... oh my, she will try to open the bathroom door with her paws to get to it!! if she does get it... she will squeeze under the bed and tear it to shreads... yea.. so. your not alone.. haha
