eating poop in crate while we are gone..HELP!

HELP! We leave Molly in her crate for 4 hrs at a time MAX..most of the time only 2-3. We have been coming home to the terrible smell of poo but no poo in crate actually, not even a sign of poo until yesterday. Today, we put her in her house and then came back not even 15 minutes later and she had pooped in her house and obviously eaten it. Why? I have read on here that we could get stuff to make her poo taste bad but, I have a feeling she would still eat it. Is this seperation anxiety? We always take her out and walk around before she goes in her house. Thanks in advance. I dont want my baby to get sick from this not to mention its disgusting

I just put up a thread about this like 3 days ago! There were some great suggestions on there.
However, What we tried first, (Stormie is/was doing the same thing!) was we left her out in the house instead of her cage. Yikes! I closed all doors, puppy proofed the house, gave her a toy with peanut butter and left.
No problems what so ever! Go figure. I was only gone for 45 min. I will keep trying and hopefully I will get the same results. Of course it would always be best to play with her before to get all of the energy out. (or some of it )
