Eating June Bugs

Hah! Coco Maddie had the same issue this morning only she ate a moth and coughed it back up!

OMG, it's only Lola's favorite thing to do, she cries at the back door as soon as she hears the first one by the light out there and then it's cruuuuuuunch cruuuuuuunch cruuuuuuuuunch for the rest of the evening... EUWWWWWW!!

Rocky leaves the june bugs alone but the lightning bugs he loves!! I have a friend that had a lab that loved grasshoppers and crickets. Apparently he started to vomit blood. The vet told her it was from eating too many and their legs were cutting the inside of her dogs throat :( How awful!

aw man. I can just see Zeke now. This will be his first summer (relatively speaking) and he already LOVES eating bugs. He likes to eat carpenter ants that crawl across our kitchen floor.

Lucas is into birds, but Zeke is our bug killer; but, I'd much rather clean up bug guts than bird, I can tell you that.

Millie LOVES the june bugs. We have the small ones and the really big nasty ones too. She will eat as many as she can get at a time. They always seem to hang around the door so I will point them out to her so I can quickly race in. EWWW But then again Millie ate bees last year too. I know they were stinging her as she caught them and ate them but she kept it up all summer. One day she puked a bunch up. We now keep benedryl on hand. Those silly kids! LOL

It is SO funny how much our boxers are alike! Who would have thought we had such hunting dogs??!! Titan FLIPS OUT when I grab a towel to go swat a fly or something. She'll follow me jumping and whining until I knock it down for her to attack.
