Eating Grass

Sascha treats our walks like an all you can eat buffet!! She eats grass, plants, rocks, sticks, bugs - whatever she can manage to swallow before I can grab it out of her mouth! But she does seem partial to the grass.

Kelly eats grass every day. Harley has begun to eat my Black Eyed Susan's. Neither of them throw up afterwird. They just like to eat grass. I have an area in the back that I don't cut so they can have some to chew on.

Bentley just likes to pull it out. I don't think he ever really eats it. It just starts falling out of his mouth once he gets bored and decides to go do something else. He's always got things sticking out of his mouth that he's totally oblivious to. I have to have napkins just to wipe his mouth off.

my Bloc eats grass occasionally too.. it's awfully funny cos he tries so hard but i think it's hard for him to chew on something so thin. But what really bothers me is when we are out for a walk and if i am just a little careless in watching what he's sniffing at he sometimes eats other dog's poop. yuck! Anyone know why he does that?!

chloe thinks she is a cow she just walks and eats grass and is very happy while doing so. she has never gotten sick from eating it and has been doing it since she was a puppy, she really enjoys it.
