Mine graze b/c their mama grazed with the horse, and they picked it up from her! Maximus is picky, though. he'll sniff a tall piece, then contemplate whether it's a "good one" or not. He grazes like a goat too! Axe only eats grass when his tummy is upset, though. And yes, they do get "hangers" too! that's so cute, i never thought of calling it that!

My Darling Ginty used to eat grass, but only a certain type.... and would you believe Saska has found the same grass supply that Ginty used to eat.....it is a soft hairy type of grass that pokes out under the fence.

We have a cemetry next to us..... I used to use the field for Ginty to run in when she was young, but now they have taken more of the field for the cemetry....I only hope if there is a burial.... Little Saska doesnt poke her nose under the fence looking for grass.

We call hangers "hanging chads" (remember the elections?) Bella freaks when this happens. She will run around in circles staring at it until it falls! It's like she can't quite figure out what it is! My Jack Russell will walk really slow until it falls, then he runs away from it as fast as he can!

Austin just came running toward me like his butt was on fire, but he was running in a funky position. I looked at his butt and there was grass hanging out of it. I didn't want to scare him so I *calmly* went inside and got a couple of paper towels before I even looked. I KNEW something was hanging on, but not sure what! But lo and behold it was grass. I literally had to pull it out of his butt and I didn't think it would ever end! And last but not least there was more poop on the other end of it. And of course I had just eaten burger king. I hope he's ok, and that grass won't block him up or anything.
