sammy has wiggled out of the easy walk harness when buckled in the car. then again, she has also managed to un-buckle the seatbelt in the back seat. she, too, is an escape artist. nothing, in my opinion, beats that harness, though. sometimes, we just forget how smart they are. :)

I have never used a harness but if they can get out of it you may want to consider using a martingale collar. It will tighten so it won't come off their head but will not choke them (it is a limited choke). This has saved us numerous times, especially since Liza has quite a narrow head. She can be such a spaz and likes to run into roads right in front of cars, if you let her. If you need a harness for pulling you may want to use both. I am not sure how but I have heard it being done before.

Completely Boxer Crazy
Just something I learned last year at Dog Scout Camp; To get the same effect as the easy walk harness at half the price or less, buy an ordinary harness that has the O ring on the chest and clip the leash on the O ring...... Same exact effect but way cheaper and I believe it would be MUCH more difficult to back out of the regular harness. In my opinion, they charge way to much for the easy walk for such little material! :)

Thanks for the tips y'all. I've got a Sensesible harness for Buddy but we don't use it that much. When he's outside with us, he's on his leash with his regular collar on.
