Winston is such a sleepy head in the morning! My dh is the bed maker in the am and he sometimes has to kick Winston out of bed  If I go into the bedroom after my shower and turn on the light, he will look at me like, "Do you mind, I'm trying to rest here!" It's hysterical!!! On the weekends, he will go out to do his business and then climb back in bed for some extra shut eye

So who has the sleepy head in the am and who has the early riser?

Our Sophie is a real dozy head during the week, we get up at 6am and her head is firmly stuffed down the side of her bed - I'm sure she reckons if she can't see us then it can't possibly be time to get up yet! Dino gets up fine to go for his walk during the week but gets fed up if we stay in bed too long at the weekend and tries everything to get us up, jumping on the bed, staring, licking, chewing your nose then he'll give up and strunt off downstairs and take up position at the front door - silly boy :) If we don't get up even then he comes back upstairs and dramatically starts huffing and puffing at us! Sophie sleeps through it all!

The only thing that gets Nestle out of bed in the morning is the sound of her kibble being poured into her bowl  She slowly descends the stairs, eats, goes out for a quick potty break and then is back in bed for another couple hours of shut eye. It's a rough life isn't it?

Narnia used to be an insomniac, but now she at least sleeps through the night! She is barking us awake by 6am, though, every single morning... *yawwwnnn*. Seems we will never be able to sleep in again on the weekends! On the days hubby goes to work, he will take her out, feed her, take her out again and only then will she nap until 8 or so! I have begun taking her with me to wake the children in the morning since she is so full of energy that early (unlike me!) she seems to be more effective. Plus, I think my kids would think I was crazy if I started licking them all over the face to wake them... lol

Ugh, Roscoe is such an early riser at this point. He finally sleeps through the night, but is up around 630 and ready to go potty and eat his breakfast. During the week he will run around and play while I am getting ready for work and then I will put him back in his cage because bf doesnt have to be to work until noon. Apparently he only sleeps about a half hour after I leave and then he is whining and crying to get out again. On the weekends, we take turns getting up with him. He never wants to go back to sleep after he is up and eats his breakfast. I hope this is just part of the puppy phase, because both of us love to sleep in!!

Atlas is not an early riser at all. He just raises his head and looks at you like to say dont make to much noise and turn the light out when you leave.

They ususally get up to potty then right back to sleep!! They are like kids who don't want to go to school. I've found Bacon with his head covered by a blanket or pillow (he loves to do that). Maggie is the laziest. Someone always needs to drag her out or call a few times for her to wake up.

Lola is a sleepy head most of the time - although sometimes at the weekends she paws me until I get up - but she'll go back to sleep as soon as I'm up adn dressed little minx

This is a complicated question at my house. During the week when the alarm goes off both boys are out of bed before I get a chance to turn of the alarm (probably because we take them for a walk right away) but on the weekends, I have to kick them out of bed just to make them go to the bathroom in the backyard. After I give them their breakfast and they go back to the bedroom to sleep.
