Seeking the advice of ear taping experts here......I feel like Harleys taping is going very well, but I have a question concerning the cross brace that we are using. We tape the ears using the backer rod method and have started using 5/8" rod taping only at the top and bottom. We were taping the entire ear, but that doesn't seem necessary now that we've started using the larger diameter rod. It gives the ear more area to stick to. Anyways, on to my question. We have been taping for 4 weeks and have used a cross brace that is made using the zonas tape. We just run tape around the ears just over the head and stick it together in the middle. Hard to explain, so I've attached a picture. How long should we run this brace? Are there any concerns about running it too long? He can move his ears a lot. We try to make the brace loose enough that he can still pull his ears in (he can almost touch them together) and rotate them. Thanks in advance.
